The Board of the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong, at the Air Force Headquarters on Tuesday, 2 September 2025.

The board, led by its Chairman, Mr Simon Allotey, congratulated the Chief of the Air Staff on his appointment and pledged closer collaboration with the Ghana Air Force.

They also extended condolences over the recent helicopter incident, assured their solidarity and  support in the investigations to strengthen aviation safety.

AVM Agyen-Frempong, on his part, congratulated the new GCAA Board members, acknowledged their role in advancing aviation standards, and called for support in enhancing flight safety through modern equipment and technical assistance.

He further outlined plans for a joint exercises between the Air Force and Civil Aviation as well as other initiatives.
