The Air Force Base, Takoradi, has held its annual end-of-year children’s party, bringing together children of the Base community at the Asmara park on Saturday 13 December, 2025.

The colourful event of goodwill featured a range of activities for the children, including games, music, dancing and refreshments. Children also received gifts, creating moments of joy and laughter throughout the day.

The Base Commander, Air Commodore Eric Yirenkyi together with his wife, and some senior officers were present which added to the excitement of the occasion and highlighted the importance the Base places on family-centered activities.

The end-of-year children’s party is an annual tradition at Air Force Base Takoradi, organised to celebrate the festive season and promote unity and camaraderie among personnel and their families as the year comes to an end.
